Department of Defense
ASSIST
As UX/UI Lead, I spearheaded the redesign of the Department of Defense’s Acquisition Streamlining and Standardization Information System (ASSIST), the official repository for defense and federal specifications, standards, and related technical documents, including classified and non-classified materials. My role involved leading stakeholder and user interviews to define project goals, user needs, and key demographics. I created user personas, journey maps, user flows, and information architecture to guide design decisions. I designed wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and updated the platform’s branding to deliver a user-centered, efficient, and secure application experience.
I served as the Senior UX Designer on this project, leading the user experience strategy and design.
